Fun + Romantic wedding session in the Mountains.

I love this mountain session we did for Aga & Wojtek at the beginning of January. We had the best time enjoying the snow-less (!) winter scenery and breathing fresh mountain air.

The world seems totally different from up there and everything seems possible… and that’s precisely the feeling you need when you get married, right?

So this Irish guy met this Italian/Canadian girl in Australia and they fell in love…. Fast forward some years and here we are. Him – all handsome in his wedding suit, her – all beautiful, radiant and smiling in her super awesome wedding dress and a pair of blush pink Badgley Mishka’s heels. Surrounded by their families ( and what a fun crowd it was!) and a sea of friends, they promised to love each other forever.

Huge congrats Bettina & Kevin! Hope your Australian love story never ends.

This preview from Bettina and Kevin’s wedding is massive, but it’s not a surprise. There is almost 1000 photographs from their wedding!It was a great day, despite grey sky, rain and bone-chilling cold. They got married at Immaculate Conception Church in Vaughan and decided to have their outdoor session in picturesque Kleinburg. Unfortunatelly this little town is not that super picturesque when it rains. We did manage to take some photographs outdoor though, and thanks to awesome staff at Chartreuse Restaurant, we ended up with some unique indoor and patio shots. You can’t believe how thankful I was that the couple did not mind the change of plans and simply went with the flow. Oh, how I love working with easygoing people! After the session we went to The Venetian Banquet & Hospitality Centre in Woodbridge. Here is the story in pictures:

Lavender field engagement. Rovita + Collin

I was looking forward to this lavender field engagement photo session for quite some time. Let me tell you… it was well worth the wait! We arrived at Weir’s Lane Lavender & Apiary in Dundas, 20 minutes before Rovita and Collin. By the time they got there I was so overwhelmed with the scent of lavender that I felt slightly tipsy I guess that’s what lavender field does to your body on a hot summer evening. This place is a real feast for all your senses. First, the color of two different lavender plant species are just magnificent in mid-July. The farm has a few rows of lavender in front of the house and long rows in the back field. Second, the scent; it permeates the fields and the owners’ house ( I wonder if they can still smell it or if they got used to it to the point where they do not notice it anymore?). Mixed with a hot and sticky air of an open field it makes for a magical concoction. The sounds are amazing too! This place is also an apiary, so thousands of bees fly over lavender plants collecting nectar. Though Weir’s Lane Farm was out of lavender honey when we were there, I hope to go back one day to get the thing straight from the source.
So here we were… walking the fields with beautiful Rovita ( didn’t she look spectacular in her long, blush dress?!) and Collin (pulling well the clean-cut look, right?!). What can I say… Their session was bound to be romantic….

Fitness photography session at Brampton’s Chinguacousy Park

Fitness Photography Session. Brampton.

So….I got to meet real life Wonder Woman! Strong, smart and fun to be around……and did I mention strong?

Paulina is a personal trainer and fitness enthusiast. We met a few days after she participated in OPA Ontario Championships. It was a first fitness photography session for both of us. We did not have time to move from park to studio, but I still like the results. By keeping it all outdoor we ended up with more natural, summery fun photographs. I just love fitness photography and can’t wait for the next session!
